Jul 25, 2023 · In 2001 the Agile Manifesto for Software Development was introduced to encapsulate a new way of thinking with 4 values and 12 principles on how to deliver software products better. Although it had its roots in software development, its values and principles have since expanded to cover various areas beyond just software development.

With its emphasis on flexibility, collaboration,...I first purchased and read "Agile Software Development with SCRUM" after talking at length with Ken Schwaber at a software development conference in 2001. I find some of terminology used in the Scrum process to be a bit trite - such as "Pigs and Chickens" - but the approach itself is solid.
Scrum literature recommends teams have sizes of seven to nine members (Schwaber 2004). This is based on studies (Steiner 1972) and firsthand experience that shows that team productivity peaks at these sizes. A challenge for agile game development is to build cross-discipline teams that don't exceed this range.
The following 12 Principles are based on the Agile Manifesto. 1. Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through the early and continuous delivery of valuable software. 7.
